Overview
Public and private schools, as well as individual students in Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley counties will display works in a variety of subjects and media. This year the exhibition features 1171 Youth Art entries from 60 schools.
2026 Judges
1st-5th grade – Amy Stewart is a visual artist and art educator based in North Charleston. She was the 2025 North Charleston Arts Fest Poster Design Winner and teaches visual art courses at Fort Dorchester High School as well as from her home studio. amystewartart.com
6th-12th grade – Ester Araujo is a painter and fiber artist based in the Charleston area of South Carolina. In her vibrant gouache paintings, she builds layered textures and creates rhythmic movement with her brush strokes, capturing the magical feeling of being immersed in natural environments. esteraraujo.com

This year the exhibition features 79 High School Sculpture entries from 9 schools.
2026 Judge
This year’s High School Sculpture judge is Joe Quinn. Joe Quinn is an artist/educator working in painting, 3D, printmaking, drawing, and photography. He holds an MFA in fine art from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design as well as a BA in art studio from Coastal Carolina University, and was the People’s Choice 3D prize winner at ArtFields 2025 in Lake City, SC. joequinnimages.com
