3:00-4:00pm

This afternoon program features modern and contemporary dance performances by dancers from throughout the Lowcountry.

3:00-3:30pm – Jessie Natusch Dance Works will present a work-in-progress excerpt from old soul / new soul: a parent artist’s research. The work investigates the experience of being both an artist and a parent, exploring ideas of care, lineage, time, and identity through movement and composition.

3:30-4:00pm – Impermanent Gallery will present excerpts from their upcoming show Anastasia: A Full-Length Contemporary Dance, premiering at the end of May. Experience the story of Anastasia Romanov, the lost duchess of Russia, as told through contemporary dance with instrumental music.
