The Spartina Consort will transport audiences to the European courts and churches of the 17th and 18th centuries during this evening concert of Baroque chamber music played on period instruments. Featuring Susan Conant (recorder and baroque flute), David Hunt (treble and bass viols), Marcy Jean Brenner (bass viol), and Augusta Campagne (harpsichord), the newly formed ensemble’s repertoire includes music from composers like G.P. Teleman, J.S. Bach, Marin Marais, and more.
